Instructions

    • 1

Take three cones (or balls or pinnies) and create a triangle that is about one to two yards long on each side.

    • 2

Divide players into teams for two-on-two and have them make the same triangles all around the field.

    • 3

Begin the game with one pair from each foursome.

    • 4

Have the person with the ball pass it through the cone triangle and out the other side without touching any of the cones.

    • 5

Have that player's partner receive the ball and play it through a different side of the triangle, back to the first player. Each successful pass counts for one point.

    • 6

Instruct players not to pass the ball back through the same side of the triangle twice in a row.

    • 7

Have players count how many touches they take on the ball before passing it.

    • 8

Allow more touches on the ball for younger players, but try to get it down to two touches - one touch to receive the ball, the second touch to pass it.

    • 9

Have the pair in each foursome that isn't playing keep track of the score. As soon as the first pair either hits a cone or passes the ball back through the same side, they let the counters play.

    • 10

Explain that the team (pair) with the highest score (number of consecutive passes) is the winner.

    • 11

Focus on players keeping their heads up when passing and receiving.
