Step-by-Step Instructions on How to Skimboard

Skimboarding is a water sport which takes place on the beach near the waters edge. Skimboarders surf on a board along shallow water receding after a wave has broken and moved up the beach. A skimboard looks like a small surfboard but is usually made of wood and a lot thinner. Skimboarding can be enjoyed in the shallow surf, so does not require the skimmer to be able to swim. However caution around the water is always advised.
