How to Cross on a Jump Rope
Jumping rope is a fun way to increase your heart rate, which can improve your cardiovascular health. After a while, simply jumping over the rope can get dull. Spice up your workout by doing a cross with the jump rope. The method is simple, but it will take practice before you are able to do it successfully.

Warm up by jumping rope as you normally would.

Stop jumping, then place the jump rope behind you on the ground. You should be holding the handles with each of your hands.

Bring the rope up over your head.

When the rope is over your head, at the same time you jump, cross your arms in front of you.

Keep your arms crossed as the rope passes in front of your body. Jump over it as it hits the ground.

Practice until you can cross the jump rope in front of you and continue to jump rope. You can uncross your arms as you bring the rope back up behind you.
