Boxercise Instructor Training

Boxercise instructors teach a combination of non-impact boxing and aerobic fitness skills. They work at fitness centers, gyms and Boxercise-sponsored organizations. Boxercise instructors receive certified training to teach students around the world.

  1. Preliminary Training

    • Boxercise instructors must have prior fitness experience or pass a skills test.

      An aspiring Boxercise instructor must have a nationally recognized U.K. or U.S. fitness credential. Instructor candidates without prior fitness certifications must pass an entrance examination given by the Boxercise organization. Candidates do not incur a cost for the entrance test.

    Instructor Training Course

    • Boxercise instructors receive intensive one-day training.

      According to the Boxercise website, boxercise instructors must complete a one-day course that lasts for eight hours. Successful instructors receive a certificate, identification card and entry into the International Register of Boxercise Instructors.

    Certification

    • Boxercise instructors have a global student base.

      According to the United Kingdom Register of Exercise Professionals and the Aerobic and Fitness Association of America, the Boxercise instructor qualification enables instructors to teach classes throughout the world.
