Navy PFT Requirements

Scoring
-
Scores are based off three physical tests. The three scores are added and divided by three to obtain the Physical Readiness Test score. Scores range from 45 being probationary to 100 for an outstanding fitness level.

Flexibility
-
This part of the test is not scored but is noted in the sailor's record. The test consists of sitting on a flat surface and reaching for the toes for at least 1 second without bouncing.
Curl- Ups
-
The goal is to perform as many curl-ups as possible within two minutes.
Push-Ups
-
Push-ups are timed for two minutes, and resting is allowed in the up position only.
Passing
-
All recruits must pass each test with a minimum of 60 points to graduate boot camp. Sailors must score a minimum of 50 points after boot camp to avoid disciplinary action.
