Whether you choose to work in a fitness club or start your own business, knowing how to become a personal trainer will allow you to establish a profitable career helping others in your community.

If you know the fitness club where you want to work, ask the manager which certification program she prefers.

      Set up your own business. Even if you have a job at a club you may be want to take on extra clients. Talk to the club and find out if you can rent space or time to use their equipment for training. Another idea is to set up a home gym or get together with another trainer and open a studio.
