Fight "dirty" at all times. One of the guiding principles that carries over to all of krav maga's techniques is that there is no such thing as a fair fight. This means that you must do everything and anything you can to take control of the fight and end it quickly by neutralizing your opponent. So, learn to fight dirty and throw away concepts of a "fair" fight.

Learn the fighting stance. Like any other martial arts system, krav maga has its own fighting stance that is used to deploy strikes and kicks. To get the stance, begin standing with feet shoulder width apart in the "neutral" stance. To move into fighting stance move your dominant leg back about eight inches. Rest the back leg on your toes so there is a bend in the knee. Then, put your hands up and keep your elbows in to complete the stance.

Strike intelligently. One of the key elements in krav maga fighting technique is to strike the opponent where it hurts. Spend some time learning vulnerable points on the human body and then practice strikes that quickly and powerfully hit these spots so you can disable your opponent in the shortest amount of time possible.

4
Deal with immediate threats first. Krav maga technique teaches you to deal with threats by order of priority. For instance, if an opponent gets a hand on your throat your overriding goal is to get the hand off. A defense in krav maga, though, must always be accompanied by or followed by a very aggressive and relentless attack. If your opponent gives you an opening, or if you create one, use it until you can't anymore or until the opponent has been neutralized.
