Instructions

    • 1

Squirt a small amount of hot glue into the hollowed tube of a ring-topped bead cap.

    • 2

Select one peacock feather that's 8 inches in length and another that's 2 inches long. Grasp the feathers at the ends of the quills. Line up the quills so the ends are flush. Insert these gathered feather quill ends into the glue-filled bead cap.

Select a flat-ended silver head pin and turn it so the flat head is facing down. Slide your choice of gemstones or beads down the length of the wire. This allows you to add colorful contrast to the pendant you're making.

    • 4

Grasp the opened top of the beaded headpin with pliers and bend the end inward snugly, creating a loop. Before you close the loop entirely, insert the hooked end through the looped top of the bead cap holding the peacock feathers. Finish bending the headpin into itself to close the loop. This creates a beaded dangle to embellish the feathers.

Slide the new peacock feather pendant onto your favorite chain.
