How do I Tie a Taekwondo Belt?
Instructions

-
1
Fold the belt in the middle and hold it your left hand. The length of the folded belt should reach your chest.
-
2
Lay the middle of the belt on the center of your stomach. You should lay the wide side of the belt toward your body. This is the point where you will start tying and the spot where you will also finish.
-
3
Wrap the belt around your waist. Move your hands around your waist until they meet at the back.
-
4
Cross the belt on the midpoint at the back, tucking one side under the other as you move the belt toward the front. The portion of the belt that you are holding with your right hand should cross above the other. Switch the ends that you are holding after crossing the belt.
-
5
Hold the two ends of the belt and bring them in front. Tuck the end you are holding with your right hand under the belt wrapped around your waist. Pull both ends of the belt to tighten it.
-
6
Thread the top piece of belt under the bottom piece and pass it through in between the loop that is made. Pull the ends again to tighten the knot. Check that the belt has the same thickness all around. Ensure that the two ends of the belt that are hanging in front of you have equal lengths.
