  1. Car/Boat Wax

    • Find car and boat waxes at an auto parts or discount store. Apply the wax with a soft rag, then allow to dry. Once the wax is dry, buff it off with a soft, lint-free cloth. Avoid clogging air ducts with the wax.

    Furniture Wax

    • The reports are mixed for spray furniture wax on air hockey tables. While it might speed play temporarily, some professionals report that the spray builds up a sticky surface that attracts dirt and grime, slowing play. If you choose spray furniture wax, buff the table after using the spray and keep it covered to avoid dirt build up.
