How to Clean Air Hockey Table Tops

Clean an air hockey table at least once a month, or more often if you use it frequently, to keep the surface at its best. Pucks will not flow as smoothly on a dirty table as they will on a clean table. Air hockey tables can be expensive, so protect your investment with careful cleaning.

Things You'll Need

  • Liquid window cleaner or isopropyl alcohol, also called rubbing alcohol
  • Paper towels

Instructions

    • 1

Turn on the air hockey table. Dust and dirt will be blown out of the table holes and onto the table. Leave the table on throughout the cleaning process.

    • 2

Pump a few sprays of liquid window cleaner or isopropyl alcohol onto a clean paper towel. The towel should be damp, not dripping wet.

    • 3

Wipe the air hockey table with the dampened paper towel. Clean the table in the same motion--either vertically or horizontally--throughout the process to keep streak marks from appearing. Repeat process if necessary.

    • 4

Dry the air hockey table immediately after cleaning by wiping the table with a clean paper towel or a cloth towel. Wipe the table in the same motion as described in the previous step.

    • 5

Examine the air hockey table for dirt or streaks. Clean the table again as needed.
