Decide on which arm to wrestle with. Many people choose their strongest arm.

Place your chosen wrestling arm on top of the table. Have your opponent do the same. Verify that both your elbows are bent and touching the table.

Grip each other's hands. Adjust your arms' positions on the table to give each other a fair chance to win if necessary.

Start the arm wrestling match.

Lull your opponent into a false sense of security. Allow him a few seconds to choose and employ basic moves on your arm during the match. Let him think he is winning.

Concentrate on your opponent's wrist. A weak or shaking wrist works to your advantage. His distraction will also be beneficial.

Build pressure in your arm and aim it at your target's wrist. Targeting your opponent's wrist with all of your arm's strength weakens his hold on your hand.

Increase the amount of pressure on your opponent's wrist. The concentrated pressure on your opponent's wrist begins to radiate to the rest of his arm. His arm will wobble with weakness.

Take advantage of your opponent's new weakness. Pin his arm to the other side of the table. You may need to increase the amount of pressure on his wrist to subdue him. Keep putting pressure on his wrist until his arm allows for an easy pin.
