Instructions

    • 1

Place the table frame upside down in the position it will be in the room, and attach the legs at the four corners before turning it over to stand upright.

    • 2

Place the center of the three pieces of slate on the table first, then slide the outside slates into place once the center piece is properly situated over the pockets.

    • 3

Use the level to unsure that your slate pieces have been laid flat and that your table is level.

    • 4

Use the torch to melt the wax into the cracks between the three pieces of slate, and allow it to dry. Apply enough wax so that it is rising above the surface of the slate.

    • 5

Use the paint scraper to remove wax that is above slate level.

    • 6

Apply the felt to the table. This can be accomplished by following the link in the resources to felt installation steps; however it is a highly complicated task, and it is recommended home players hire a professional for this step, as a professional felting is still cheaper than professional installation, and yet also ensures your felt is properly laid.
