Pool Table Cloth Colors

The felt on the tops of pool tables allow the balls to glide over the table with little friction. After many years of playing, the table may need to be re-felted. Whether you need to repair the felt or are just tired of the old felt color, you can get your pool table re-felted in a variety of colors to jazz up your table.
  1. Greens

    • Generally, most pool tables come in Standard Green felt. If you'd like to keep the standard look of the table, but with a different shade, there are several different greens that you can choose from. Green felt comes in seven different shades: Dark Green, Canadian Green, Evergreen, Spruce, Teal and Surf. Dark Green, Evergreen and Spruce are a few shades darker than Standard Green; whereas Canadian Green is a bright, grass green color. Teal and Surf both have a bluish color mixed in and are lighter in color.

    Reds

    • You may see some pool tables with a dark red felt; like the greens, there are many different shades of red to correspond to your decor. Choose from Wine, Burgundy, Red, Rose, Coral, Mahogany. If you're looking for a classic shade, choose either Wine, Burgundy or Mahogany--all three have a deep, rich color. For a more fun and bright color, choose either Red, Rose or Coral--Rose and Coral have more of a pink tone to them.

    Blues and Purples

    • For a fun shade of felt, consider choosing blue felt for your pool table. For bright, exciting color, choose Electric Blue or Cadet Blue. If you're looking for something sleeker and darker, you can choose from Blue, Denver Blue or Marine Blue. Denver Blue is a darker blue with a touch of gray/green in the color. Whereas Marine Blue is a deep navy blue. Pool table felt also comes in a few different shades of purple. Choose from Purple, Plum, Lavender or Grape. Plum is a deeper shade with a hint of red in it; whereas the grape is slightly more neutral in color.

    Neutrals

    • If color isn't quite your thing, you can always choose from a variety of neutral tones. Pool table felt comes in the sand/brown tones of Brown, Copper, Gold and Camel; and the gray tones of Taupe, Pewter, Banker's Gray, Charcoal and Black.
