On Time Feeder Directions

On Time Feeders produce a range of automatic-timed feeders to bait wildlife for photo ops or hunting. These devices have two clocks that are set to different times. When the times come, feed drops into the feed trays, drawing animals to the unit. Before using these devices for hunting, check with your local department of wildlife for laws regarding bait hunting.

Instructions

    • 1

Unscrew the hex nut on the funnel and remove the funnel from the feeder.

    • 2

Pull down on the module at the top of the feeder to find the clock timers. Pull off the two timer clips and place them next to the hour at which you wish the feeder to disperse the food. Twist the brass knob until the clock reads the correct time of day. Keep the edge of the clip next to the time you want the feeding to start. The clips' width takes up 30 minutes on the clock face.

    • 3

Spin the module around to find the battery pack. Push the 15 volt pack aside and place the 10 AA batteries into the battery housing. Close the battery panel. Turn the clocks to find a small single-battery slot and insert one AA battery.

Push the module back onto the feeder. Fill the barrel portion of the feeder and place the funnel back onto the On Time Feeder. Screw the funnel back into position, making sure the hole at the barrel aligns with the funnel chute.

    • 5

Screw in the four funnel set screws in the install packet in addition to the main set screw. Fill the barrel with the bait. Place the feeder in the location to which you wish to draw animals. Check back during the feeding time to watch or hunt animals.
