How Do I Push the Boat Out a Few Feet if the Base of My Dock Is Too Shallow?
You can push your boat away from your dock if the water at the dock is too shallow, using one of your oars. Depending on how well-stuck in the mud your boat is -- whether it's stuck in the mud at all, or merely resting on the bottom -- the process may be physically challenging, even if it seems, at first, to be the essence of simplicity.
