How to Drive a Twin Inboard Boat
Driving an inboard boat with two engines -- an inboard twin -- is similar to operating any boat most of the time. The big difference is that inboard boats use rudders to change directions, rather than changing the direction of their thrust by moving the whole outboard motor or an inboard-outboard lower unit. This means that, by working the rudders and engines in a way that would seem to have them all working against each other, you can parallel park the boat.

Move the throttle of the motor nearest the dock into reverse.

3
Shift the throttle of the motor farthest from the dock into forward. The boat will "walk" sideways into the dock.
