1
Remove any loose bits of foam, vinyl or plastic from the area of the ding. Examine the foam underneath the hole for moisture. Allow the board to dry thoroughly or the glue might not adhere properly.
-
2
Plug in the glue gun. Insert a fresh glue stick. Allow the gun to come up to temperature before proceeding.
-
3
Squeeze melted glue liberally into and around the area of the ding. Fill the hole completely. Utilize a plastic spreader or putty knife to smooth the repair. Work quickly while the glue remains molten.
-
4
Allow the glue to cool. Trim off any glue strings or lumps with a single-edge razor blade, if desired. Once the repair is complete and the glue cools, the bodyboard is ready for use.
