Situated 15 minutes from Port Dalhousie, Big Valley Campground Resort includes more than 100 campsites in a shady, tree-lined valley around Sixteen Mile Creek. More than 50 of these campsites include full hookups -- water, sewer and electricity -- and all of them are open to both tents and RVs. Features in the campground include an ice cream shop, swimming pool, hot tub and tennis courts, and campers have access to modern restrooms and showers. Some campsites are available on a nightly basis, while others are seasonal sites for long-term campers.

Shangri-La Niagara Family Campground sits less than 20 minutes from Port Dalhousie, and offers tent and RV campsites as well as furnished cabins. Shady and secluded, the campground consists of 250 campsites, all of which come with full water, sewer and electric hookups. Centrally located bathhouses include hot showers and flush toilets. Each site includes a campfire ring and picnic table, and firewood is available at the camp store. Shangri-La is located along the Bruce Trail, making it an ideal destination for hikers, and it is also nestled in the heart of Niagara's wine country, with several vineyards nearby.

Spread across 40 acres, and just over 15 minutes from Port Dalhousie, Jordan Valley Campground has around 60 campsites. The sites range from primitive to full hookup, and a large open area is reserved exclusively for tent campers. Restrooms, showers and laundry facilities are provided, and most campsites are grassy and spacious. Horseshoe pits, playground equipment, volleyball courts, a swimming pool, rec room and picnic area provide plenty of ways to keep busy, and the campground is right around the corner from Jordan Valley Park and Twenty Mile Creek. Wireless Internet is available in the campground. Nightly and seasonal rates are available.

NET Camping Resort is about 25 minutes south of Port Delhousie. The campsites -- which range from shady and secluded to open and spacious -- are nestled among the hills around the shores of a small private lake. Primitive tent sites are available, as well as sites with electricity, water and sewer hookups. If you prefer a roof over your head, you can rent a rustic cabin. Some cabins include heating, air-conditioning and small refrigerators. Laundry rooms, hot showers, modern restrooms and a camp store are among the many amenities provided. You can fish for bass or rent a paddle boat on the lake, take a dip in the swimming pool or spend a day playing horseshoes, volleyball, basketball or soccer.
