How to Build Sanitizer Holders
Things You'll Need
- 4-inch PVC pipe, 6 inches long
- Miter saw
- Drill
- 1/4-inch drill bit
- Sanding pad, fine-grit
- PVC pipe cement
- 4-inch PVC pipe cap
Instructions

1
Place the PVC pipe on its side on the table of a miter saw. Adjust the miter saw to cut a 45-degree angle and lock it in place.
-
2
Pull the trigger on the saw and guide it through the pipe to cut off one end of the pipe at a 45-degree angle. Guide the saw back up through the pipe and release the trigger once the saw is in the start position.
-
3
Drill a 1/4-inch-diameter hole through the pipe approximately 1 inch down from the long point of the mitered end of the pipe using a drill and 1/4-inch drill bit. This is the mounting hole for the holder.
-
4
Sand the cut and drilled areas of the pipe lightly with a fine-grit sanding pad to make the edges smooth.
-
5
Apply PVC pipe cement to the uncut end of the pipe and the inside edge of the cap using the included applicator from the cement. Press the cap over the uncut end of the pipe so they fit tightly. The cement will bond the parts quickly, so it is important to work fast after the cement has been applied.
