How to Cast Unweighted Shrimp Bait
Shrimp is one of the most common live baits used by anglers fishing near-shore salt water. Widely available, shrimp will catch nearly any fish that swims in salt water. Additionally, some anglers use shrimp in fresh water to target species such as bass and sunfish. While some anglers simply let shrimp move around beneath the water on their own, others prefer to take a more active role in searching for fish. Those anglers often cast, which can be challenging since shrimp is so light. Using the right equipment and technique make it possible.
