Instructions

    • 1

Park you car at Green Mountain Falls Gazebo Lake. Town locals prefer hikers to park at the lake so as to not disrupt other traffic in the town.

    • 2

Walk away from the lake northwest along Ute Pass Avenue to locate the Catamount Trail trailhead. Turn left onto Hondo Avenue and follow it all the way to the end. Spot the Catamount Trail trailhead right after you pass a water treatment plant.

    • 3

Walk up the hill following the yellow markers. When you reach the face of a cliff, locate a trail on the right side that is marked with blue markers.

    • 4

Follow the blue-marked trail up the mountain, through the Garden of Eden Valley, and eventually to the reservoirs. Follow the same trail back to return to the town and your car.
