Cooking With Alcohol Backpacking Stoves
There are many different types of camping and backpacking stoves on the market, but a favorite that has been around for a long time is the alcohol stove. This is a very basic kind of stove that is easy to use, cheap to either make yourself or purchase, and it burns clean with little waste. Though the heat output is less than other fancier options, it is the perfect option if you are going to be cooking lightly on a backpacking trip. The types of food that cook up well include pastas, dehydrated meals and rice dishes, which are all one-pot meals.
