How to Tie a Rodeo Rope
Cowboys use rodeo ropes, or lassos for roping livestock such as horses and cattle. It has a noose at one end and is made from rawhide or hemp. The material is strong, slightly stiff and lightweight. The stiffness keeps the loop open, which makes it easier to catch animals and handle the lasso. Run a noose on a lasso by tying it into a length of rope to loosen it easily to release the animal when needed.
