How to Assemble a 6.8 Bolt Carrier
A 6.8 mm bolt carrier is part of a semiautomatic rifle. The bullet is fired from the bolt carrier after leaving the rifle's magazine. A bolt carrier can be removed and disassembled for cleaning purposes, and then inserted back into the rifle. The bolt assembly inside the bolt carrier can also be disassembled and reassembled.

Insert the extractor into the bolt assembly of the bolt carrier.

Insert the pin that holds the extractor into the bolt.

Insert the bolt assembly into the bolt carrier with the extractor on the right side of the bolt carrier. Line up the holes of both the bolt assembly and carrier.

Place the cam pin into the hole of the carrier and bolt, then twist it 90 degrees to secure it into place.

Load the firing pin into the underside of the bolt carrier until it is fully inserted in the hole.

Insert the retaining pin that holds the firing pin into the left side of the bolt carrier to finish the assembly.
