How to Use Long Range Iron Sights
Long range iron sights are markers placed on a rifle barrel to assist the shooter in aiming a gun that does not have a scope. Open sights generally have a bead near the end of the barrel that aligns in the rear sight notch to aim. Many shooters prefer using an open sight in place of a scope, and most gun manufacturers place open iron sights on their gun barrels during the manufacturing process.
