1
Remove the two large screws on the sides of the nozzle that hold the nozzle in place. Remove the sleeves that these screws go into. Slide the locking disks at the bottom of the bores into which the sleeves fit. Disconnect the ball joint of the steering rod. Remove the nozzle from the jet ski and set it, the screws, the sleeves and the locking rings aside.

2
Unscrew the four screws holding the venturi onto the jet pump housing and set them aside. Remove the reverse gate and its support from the jet pump. Pull the nozzle and the venturi out of the housing.
-
3
Remove the three screws that surround the conical hub of the venturi and hold its retaining cover in place. Tap the cover gently with a rubber hammer to release it from the housing. Dump any oil remaining in the venturi reservoir into an oil-change pan. Use a solvent and a clean, lintless cloth to clean the inside of the cover and the oil reservoir inside the housing. Scrape the O-rings from the mating surfaces of the cover and housing with a plastic scraper.

4
Apply a bead of gasket compound to the mating surfaces of the cover and set a new O-ring in place. Reinstall the cover and the O-ring on the housing. Replace the three screws around the conical venture hub and tighten them to 35 inch-pounds with a torque wrench.
-
5
Remove the plug in the conical cover at the base of the conical venture hub, using a 1/4-inch open-end wrench, to expose the oil fill hole. Pour Sea-Doo jet pump synthetic oil through the oil fill hole until the oil is even with the bottom threads of the hole. Wait a few minutes until the oil settles into the reservoir and refill as needed, waiting between refills, until the oil remains even with the bottom threads. Apply a thread locker to the threads of the plug and return the plug to the bore.

6
Return the venturi to the jet pump housing and tighten the four screws that hold the venture in place to 16 foot-pounds. Reinstall the nozzle and snap the steering rod ball joint into place. Slide the locking disks into the bores on the sides of the nozzle. Slide the sleeves into the bores and reinstall the large nozzle screws into the sleeves. Tighten the screws to 15 foot-pounds.
