Determine the location inside the trailer where you want to mount your BMX bike. It is best to select one of the side walls as opposed to attaching it to the ceiling. While you may hang your BMX bikes in the garage at home, hanging them in the trailer could see them sway side to side during transport.

Attach two "C" hooks to the trailer wall. There are a number of different types of "C" hooks. Get ones that are covered with a protective vinyl coating that will prevent any BMX bike from being scratched. The hooks need to be installed at a height that will keep the bike's wheels on the floor of the trailer.

Place the bike on the "C" hooks and secure the bikes in place using nylon tie-down straps. Wrap the straps around the "C" hook and the frame of the BMX bike where it rests on the "C" hooks.

Tie the nylon straps so the bike is secure and you are ready to transport your BMX bike to the event.
