Instructions for the Johnny Stewart PM-4
Things You'll Need
- New 9-volt battery
- 4 new AA alkaline batteries
- Extra 9-volt and AA batteries (optional)
- Additional J.S. digital sound cards

Insert batteries in your Johnny Stewart PM-4 remote transmitter and base. Open the battery compartment cover on the remote, align the terminals on the battery with the battery clip and then push down on the clip to snap it in place. Close the battery compartment cover. Open the battery compartment cover on the base unit and insert four new AA alkaline batteries with the marks on the batteries aligned with the marks in the compartment. Close the cover.

Decide on a location to place the base unit and speaker and then plug the speaker into the base with the included 10-foot cable. If you want to position the base unit and speaker together, slide the base of the speaker into the slot on the front of the base unit and plug the speaker into the base unit with the speaker cord. When you're ready, position the piece or pieces on the ground or hang the assembled system from a tree branch or other object with the included nylon rope.

Push one of the three included predator sound cards, or any other Johnny Stewart digital cards you own, securely into a card slot on the base unit until you hear or feel the card lock in place. Repeat with additional sound cards in the remaining slots as desired. Push an included matching reference card into the corresponding slot on the remote transmitter. Repeat with additional reference cards in the remaining slots as desired.

Slide the “On/Off” switch on the base into the “On” position and then press any of the sound buttons on the remote transmitter. Press an additional sound button if you want to hear two sounds at one time. Press two new sound buttons at any time to change the sounds. Increase or decrease the volume using the volume control on the side of the remote.

Push “Stop” on the remote and slide the base “On/Off” switch to the “Off” position to stop using the caller. Store your PM-4 when it's not in use.
