Instructions

    • 1

Press the magazine release button on the left side of the trigger guard and remove the magazine.

    • 2

Press in on the magazine spring plate with a metal punch where it protrudes into the hole in the magazine floor plate to compress the magazine spring.

    • 3

Slide the magazine floor plate toward the front of the magazine. Maintain control of the magazine spring to prevent it from suddenly ejecting the spring plate as it slides out of the front of the magazine.

    • 4

Turn the magazine upside down. Place a screwdriver under the magazine follower and gently lift it up while pushing forward on the follower to remove it from the magazine.

    • 5

Wet a gun cleaning patch with gun cleaning solvent and clean the interior of the magazine, the magazine floor plate and the magazine spring.

    • 6

Wet a gun cleaning patch sparingly with gun oil and very lightly lubricate the magazine spring and the magazine spring plate. Do not over-lubricate.

    • 7

      Reassemble the magazine.
