How to Build a Bunker Out of Wood

Wooden paintball bunkers are a great way to make a paintball game more interesting. These bunkers provide players with protection and allow them to surprise the other team. Wooden bunkers do not need to be complicated and sophisticated. A simple structure made of plywood will be cheap and provide outstanding protection for a paintball player. Instructions

    • 1

Locate a part of your paintball field that is suitable for a wooden bunker. There should be two sturdy trees about six feet apart. Also, the ground where you want to make your bunker should be flat and void of large branches and rocks.

    • 2

Place the plywood up against the two trees and hammer 10 nails into each tree. Since a sheet of plywood is eight feet by four feet, make sure to have the wide section horizontal. This will allow you to look over the top of the bunker.

Drill several holes in the bunker at varying heights. Using a 2-inch cutter drill bit, you will be able to make holes large enough to fit the barrel of your paintball gun through without opening yourself up to paintball fire.
