Paintball: How to Flank
Instructions

1
Discuss with your team before the game begins which hand signals you will use for a flanking maneuver. The signals needs to be specific and not give any hint to the other team that you will be flanking.
-
2
Perform a sneak flank by slowly moving up the far side of the field without making any noise. The side with the most cover will be the easiest to sneak through. Your teammates need to distract the enemy by firing and moving around on the opposite side of the field. Advance until the enemy team is visible to you from the side. Wait until they stop moving and then open fire on them. Sneak up further and repeat the process to eliminate as many opponents as possible. If you're spotted, retreat or engage the enemy from a secure position.

3
Perform a quick flank by sprinting off the break to one side of the field and taking cover. Your teammates need to fire off the break to the side you're flanking to so that no opposing players can take position there. A player in the lane then needs to communicate with the flanking runner whether to continue or not, depending on if any opponents made it to that side. If you're given a signal to go, then sprint up the side of the field and take out the opponents once you have a clear angle on them. Your teammates can now advance up the other side and push inward on the enemy.
