How to Make Your Own Paintball Barriers

The first step to creating your own paintball field is placing barriers on the field for participants to hide behind. Popular options for barriers and bunkers include wood pallets, concrete highway barriers, old garage doors and rain barrels. If you don't have access to these materials, or you don't have the money to pay for them, don't worry. You can easily create paintball barriers with materials you likely already have lying around the house.

Instructions

    • 1

Fill a garbage bag with dirt. Use heavy duty garbage bags and dry dirt for the best results.

    • 2

Place the dirt-filled garbage bag inside three more garbage bags to prevent the interior bag from ripping.

    • 3

Repeat Steps 1 and 2 for as many bags as you need. For a single-sided wall barrier that will protect two people, you will need 12 dirt-filled garbage bags. For a double-sided wall barrier that will protect two people, you will need 24 dirt-filled garbage bags. For a triple-sided wall barrier, you will need 36 dirt-filled garbage bags.

    • 4

Place one row of four dirt-filled garbage bags on the ground. Pack them tightly together to prevent paint balls going through the wall.

    • 5

Stack three additional rows on top of the first row to complete one side of the wall. Use the same method to pack them together as you did in Step 4.
