How to Go to a Table Tennis Training Camp
Instructions

1
Plan your summer vacation around camp. Most table tennis training camps are geared toward junior players and are scheduled during the summer holiday. Adult camps can be held any time during the year, but they too are usually held in the summer.
-
2
Contact colleges and universities in your area. In the United States, many training camps are sponsored by and held at local universities.
-
3
Expand your search outside the United States. China and other Asian countries are hotbeds for table tennis, and these nations continually sponsor training camps.
-
4
Register for training camp before the registration deadline. Registration deadlines are strictly enforced.
-
5
Pay your enrollment fees. Camps typically accept cash, checks and most major credit cards as payment.
-
6
Note the withdrawal date and restrictions for camp. If something happens and you can't attend camp, you must withdraw before the deadline to receive a refund. In some cases, only partial refunds are available.
-
7
Convince a friend to go to table tennis training camp with you. If you're interested in being a doubles player, this is a great way to learn how to work together. Excecuting drills and playing games together will reveal the strengths and weaknesses of each player's game and help you to build a stronger team.

Pack lots of shorts, T-shirts, tennis shoes and socks. You may not have the chance to do the wash while you're at camp, so bring different clothes for each day. It's also a good idea to have two pairs of sneakers that you can alternate.
-
9
Bring your own blades and balls when you go to camp in case they do not provide equipment.
