How to Anti-Fog Snowboarding Goggles

When you fly down a mountain slope on a snowboard, you will feel the snow, wind and elements through your hair. Those same elements can wreak havoc on your snowboarding goggles, causing them to fog up. Snowboard goggles are susceptible to fog due to the sweat from your head and neck. To avoid the hassle with the condensation, treat the goggles with anti-fog cream prior to your snow adventures.

Instructions

    • 1

Clean the lenses of dust and any accumulated salt from sweat evaporation on the inside and outside of the goggles.

    • 2

Dip a corner of the chamois into special anti-fog cream. This is available at most ski and snowboard gear shops, and you can often find it in slope-side shops.

    • 3

Rub the cream into the inside of the lens, going in a circular motion. Get into the corners and edges of the inside lens. Leave the cream on and flip the goggles over.

    • 4

Dip the chamois into the cream again and rub the outside of the lens, again in a circular motion. Get into the edges, sides, small areas and the main portions of the lens.

    • 5

Flip the goggles over again and wipe off the cream using a dry end of the chamois. Remove all cream from the snowboard goggle's interior.

    • 6

Turn the goggles over again and wipe off the cream on the outside of the lens. Get all edges and small areas.

    • 7

Breath on the inside and outside to test the anti-fog cream to see if the product is working.
