1
Put on your safety gear before practicing the move. Adjust it so that it fits tightly.
-
2
Draw two baseball diamonds on the ground using chalk. Each diamond represents one foot. The diamonds should be about three feet wide and three feet tall. Place a water bottle between the diamonds. The bottle lets you know if you are doing the trick correctly. If you hit the bottle, you have failed.
-
3
Place your left skate on the second base of its diamond. The right skate should be placed on the home plate of its diamond. This should put you in an angled position on the diamonds.
-
4
Roll your left skate from second base, to third base and then to home base on all the wheels. You must follow the baselines to do this move correctly. Balance your right skate on the toe wheels and move up from home base to third and up to second. Follow the baselines closely.
-
5
Move up to the toe wheel of your left skate and rotate it to point the toe towards first base. Simultaneously rotate your right skate, so that the heel points to first base. Don't move your skates from the bases yet. Set your feet down to rest on all of the wheels.
-
6
Skate your right foot from the second base down to first base. Pivot sharply and come back to home base. Stay on all your wheels during this movement.
-
7
Simultaneously move your left skate on the front toe wheel from home, to first and then to second.
-
8
Flip your body to get back to the starting position. Repeat all the steps to do the trick indefinitely.
