How to Use a Doxa Dive Watch
Instructions

-
1
Wind or charge your Doxa Sub 1000T by winding the crown counter clockwise until the crown pops out one position. Wind clockwise between 30 and 50 times to charge the watch for 30 to 42 hours. It's a safe bet to charge it daily if it is your daily watch.
-
2
Pull the crown out one more time to the third setting to set the date. The crown needs to be pulled out to the fourth setting to set the time. Do not change the date between 10 pm and 2 am as it is resetting the date itself and the pins inside may break. Set the date by pulling the crown to the 4th position, the outer most spot, and wind counter clockwise.
-
3
Return your Doxa dive watch to the normal working position by pushing the crown inwards until you feel resistance. Then turn the crown a few turn clockwise.
-
4
Push the crown of your Doxa dive watch tightly in before you enter the water. This is the piece that you will wind to keep the watch going. It needs to be pushed in to keep the watch water resistant.
-
5
Study the bezel of the Doxa dive watch and locate the outer and inner rings as well as the two colored dots that are your descent markers. The outer ring indicates the dive depth of a non decompression dive while the inner ring indicates the dive time at that depth.
-
6
Move the bezel to line up the descent marker with the minute hand that you are starting at. If you're starting your dive at 9:15 your ascent markers will lined up at the 3.
-
7
Locate the corresponding number of the deepest depth you will be diving to this time. Wait till the minute hand reaches the outer ring marker and start your descent into the water. If you will be diving down to 90 feet with no decompression, you will have 30 minutes at the most underwater.
