1
Wash the surfboard with fresh water to remove any salt buildup, sand or other types of grime. Allow the surfboard to dry completely.
-
2
Sand the two surfaces on the nose that will be touching. Roughen up the surfaces so that the glue adheres more easily.
-
3
Use a disposable paintbrush to paint a thin layer of glue onto one piece of the surfboard nose.
-
4
Press the piece with glue to the other section of the nose to attach.
-
5
Use a clamp to hold the two surfaces together, distributing the pressure as evenly across the two sections of the nose as possible.
-
6
Remove the clamp after letting the glue cure and dry overnight.
-
7
Use fine-grit sandpaper to remove any excess glue that's oozed from the cracks on the surfboard nose.
