Hyperlite Marek Specifications

The Hyperlite Marek is a line of wakeboards produced by Hyperlite Wake Company. Hyperlite Marek wakeboards are specifically designed for use by men and are available in five different versions: Marek Nova 141, Marek Nova 146, Marek Nova 136, Marek Bio 141 and Marek Bio 136. Each of the wakeboards in the Marek line features carbon torsion zones, meant to increase the boards' durability and responsiveness.

  1. Marek Nova 136

    • The Marek Nova 136 has a total length of 136 cm. The widest point of the board measures 17 inches. The Marek Nova 136 is ideal for riders between 146 lbs. and 170 lbs. The Marek Nova line of wakeboards has the same standard performance features regardless of model. There are four removable fins set at 9-degree angles inside a two-stage channel. This feature helps the rider to create an edge with limited effort. A tip-to-tail step-down rail helps provide a solid hold on the wake and an abrupt continuous rocker line. Carbon torsion zones provide maximum durability and responsiveness to increase performance and functionality. The line also includes a fully-machined Nova core, the lightest core that Hyperlite has ever used in its wakeboard construction.

    Marek Nova 141

    • The Marek Nova 141 has the same standard features as the Marek Nova 136, but it differs in size. The Marek Nova 141 has a total length of 141 cm. The widest point of the board measures 17.1 inches and it features a 2.7 inch abrupt continuous rocker. The Marek Nova 141 is ideal for riders between 136 lbs. and 140 lbs.

    Marek Nova 146

    • The Marek Nova 146 has the same standard features as the Marek Nova 136 and Marek Nova 141. The Marek Nova 146 measures 146 cm in length and has a width of 17.3 inches at the widest point. The abrupt continuous rocker measures 2.8 inches. The Marek Nova 146 is meant for riders between 141 lbs. and 160 lbs.

    Marek Bio 136

    • The Marek Bio is 136 cm in length and measures 17 inches at the widest point. It has a 2.6 inch abrupt continuous rocker. The Marek Bio 136 is for riders between 146 lbs. and 170 lbs. The Marek Bio line of wakeboards shares the same standard performance features regardless of model. This series has four angled fins set at a 9-degree angle inside a two-stage channel. Each of these fins is removable for customization. There is a tip-to-tail step-down rail for solid hold and edge as the board travels through the wake. The abrupt continuous rocker provides increased speed and functionality for trick performance. The Bio line features a Biolite 3 core, which decreases the weight of the board while improving performance, according to Hyperlite.

    Marek Bio 141

    • The Marek Bio 141 has the same standard features as the Marek Bio 136, but it measures 141 cm long. The widest point of the board is 17.125 inches and it features a 2.74 inch abrupt continuous rocker. The Marek Bio 141 is intended for riders between 136 lbs. and 140 lbs.
