1
Remove the wakeboard and all of the parts from the packaging. Make sure that there are no scratches or imperfections and that everything looks good to you before you start the assembly.
-
2
Line the parts up to make sure that you have every part that is listed as being included with your particular wakeboard. You should have two boots, two fins and the hardware to attach the boots and fins.
-
3
Before you mount the boots, you must first determine if you are regular or goofy footed. An easy way to find out is by having a friend give you a shove from behind. Upon being shoved, if your left foot goes forward you are regular footed and if your right foot goes forward you are goofy footed.
-
4
Lay the board flat on a firm surface where it will not get scratched. The wakeboard will have pre-drilled holes for each boot. Position your feet between the sets of holes at the angle they feel most comfortable, with your preferred foot forward. Line the boots up at that same angle and simply screw them in with the provided screws. Do not overtighten screws.
-
5
Turn the board to its side edge. The newly installed boots may gently rest against the floor. The wakeboard will have pre-drilled holes for the fins. Take the fins one at a time and line them up with the pre-drilled holes (the longer part of the fin should face the outside of the board). Screw in each fin. Do not overtighten screws.
