Campgrounds Associated With Texas Speedway for NASCAR
-
Family Campground
-
For race fans camping with children, the Family Campground at TMS is the best choice. This campground is kid-friendly as it has strict "zero tolerance" policies on behavior, such as nudity and drunkenness, that are enforced by TMS staff and the local police department, who routinely inspect the campground on race weekend. There is also a noise curfew in effect after 10 p.m.
Burnout Alley
-
Camper who are not looking to "rough it" on race weekend should consider Burnout Alley. This campground features private camping areas for each motor home and include several modern amenities. In addition to a private viewing area from which to watch the race, Burnout Alley offers free Internet service, round-the-clock bathroom facilities and electrical access for television feeds. This campground is an excellent choice for race fans who are bringing non-race fans to the track who may want alternative entertainment options.
Reserved VIP Parking
-
Race fans who plan on attending a majority or all of the races at TMS may want to consider purchasing a Reserved VIP Parking pass in advance of the race season. These passes, which sell out quickly, must be purchased for the entire race season. Each pass includes a paved parking spot, which is close to the main grandstand, hook-ups to water and electric sources and also includes patrolling security.
Reserved and Unreserved Campgrounds
-
TMS provides both reserved and unreserved campgrounds. Reserved camping is available either outside of the track or in the in-field. For campers who choose the in-field option, it is important to purchase an in-field pass along with your race ticket, as all campers in this area must have an in-field pass to access this camping area. The unreserved campgrounds are located outside of the track, and race fans here do not need any additional credentials. The camping spots available here are allotted on a first-come, first-served basis, so it is wise to arrive early on race weekend in order to secure a spot. The unreserved camping area opens at 8 a.m.
