Things of Interest at Cowboys Stadium
-
HIgh Definition Television
-
Above the field, spanning from the 20-yard line to the 20-yard line, hangs a monstrous high definition television. The unit measures 72 feet tall by 160 feet wide, making it the largest HDTV in the world at the time of installation. During events, the screen features footage from the game on the field and behind-the-scenes shots from the locker room. The television has a staff that works inside of the unit during games. These employees have access to the 10-level catwalk system to take care of any problems that may arise during operation.
Miller Lite Club
-
The Miller Lite Club is on the lower level of Cowboys Stadium. This facility allows fans to watch the game in a bar setting. The interesting thing about the club is that the Dallas Cowboys players enter the field right beside the bar. The intention was for the players and the fans to have an "interactive experience" before and during the game. The players pass right by hundreds of screaming and high-fiving fans.
Art Collection
-
Cowboys Stadium features an extensive collection of contemporary art in the concourse areas. The art ranges from sprawling murals painted on the walls by the concessions to modern sculptures sprinkled throughout the halls of the seating levels. The owner decided to match up an unlikely pair, sports and art, by displaying bold pieces that evoke strong emotions.
Party Pass
-
Up to 20,000 fans can purchase a Party Pass to view the game from pockets of standing-room-only areas throughout Cowboys Stadium. All Party Pass holders can roam between the areas before and during the game. The Party Pass is a budget-friendly option for fans; the tickets cost less than $30 during the first season at Cowboys Stadium.
