Gold's Gym Annual Summer Boxing Camp
-
Gold's Gym holds an annual six-day summer boxing camp in Trenton. It is specially designed to introduce males between the ages of 10 and 21 to boxing and to encourage them to network with others in the Missouri Valley area. While the focus of the camp is boxing training and sparring, other activities are included such as fishing, swimming and hiking. Volunteer boxing coaches are on hand to teach the fundamentals of the sport as well as to serve as counselors. As of October 2010, campers are required to pay a $100 fee to register with USA Boxing for liability reasons.
