Instructions

    • 1

Purchase a Cleveland driver. Cleveland drivers are found at sporting goods stores and online retailers. There are many models, so choose the shaft stiffness rating, club length and the club angle you prefer.

    • 2

Place the ball slightly in the back center of your stance. This lowers the loft of the ball because you are slightly closing the club face. Square your feet, hips and shoulders a little to the right of the target.

    • 3

Make your left foot perpendicular to the target while sticking your right foot out about 10 to 15 degrees. Using your normal grip, aim the face of the club directly at the target.

    • 4

Swing the club in a low and sweeping motion along your body line. Retain a firm right-hand grip while keeping a light left-hand grip.
