      Clean the sole of the shoe freeing all grass, mud, sand and dirt. This will make the new spikes easier to install.

      Insert the spike tool into the respective holes of the old spike. Turn the spike tool counter-clockwise until the old spike becomes free.

      Insert the new spike by placing it over the space where old spike and twisting it clockwise into place using the spike tool.
