How to Find Videos of Tennis Matches
Instructions
-
-
1
Look for videos for major matches on the official website for the host organization. The U.S. Open and Wimbledon offer video clips, highlights and DVDs for purchase of matches.
-
2
Visit the United States Tennis Association (USTA) website to view videos of major tennis matches. The association has an archive of major matches, athlete interviews, highlights and clips from the U.S. Open, international competitions and USTA championship games. The website also has a search function for every video the association has available to watch online.
-
3
Contact your cable service provider to see whether it offers the ability to get a copy of a video. If your service provider offers DVR capabilities, you might be able to locate a replay of a match. You might even be able to record the match on your at-home DVR for viewing.

Access features for cable sports networks. Major cable sports networks such as ESPN have extensive archives of tennis match videos on their websites. You can watch the videos on your computer, share a link to others via email and post them to your page on popular social networking sites such as Facebook.
-
5
Search online video websites. You may be able to find the match you're after on an online video site such as You Tube or Hulu. Depending on the video agreement with major commercial and cable networks, you may also have the capability to embed a video on your personal website, share it via email or post it on your social networking page. You will find out restrictions on sharing and publishing once you access the video you want to watch.
-
6
Check with your local television station's sports department for video for matches held in your area. Like the major networks and cable stations, it will often have video posted on its website. Local television stations will also have video for local matches held at tennis clubs in your area. Access to copying and sharing will be described and detailed and is often based on the station's licensing rights for broadcasting with the match promoters and others who own and control rights to the video.

Go through stacks at video stores. Many videos of major matches, such as the U.S. Open and Wimbledon, are transferred to videos and available for sale.
