How to Make a Wrestling Turnbuckle
Wrestling turnbuckles are small, bolstered pads used in professional wrestling to cover all four corners of the ring. It is common to see wrestlers getting slammed into a turnbuckle to start a move off. The turnbuckle has several functions, predominantly being used as protection for the wrestler's body and head when hitting the metal corners. It is also used as a visual aid to help complete the spectacle of a wrestling match and the wrestling ring.

1
Cover a piece of canvas, around 12 by 12 inches, with a foam pad, making the turnbuckle 6 to 7 inches thick.
-
2
Glue around the edges of the first piece of canvas, and glue the second piece of canvas to it, making sure the foam padding is between the two pieces. Let the glue dry for 5 to 6 hours.
-
3
Using the hole punch, make three holes on either side of the canvas, ensuring that the holes are 5 cm apart.
-
4
Thread a thin piece of rope through all six holes and attach the turnbuckle to the corner post. Tighten the string enough to make sure the turnbuckle doesn't move.
