Instructions

    • 1

Dye the leather weight lifting belt, if desired. The leather straps of professional wrestling belts have been blue, black or even red, but you may customize this belt to your liking. Choose colors that also fit the theme of the belt, if needed. For example, the old U.S. Championship Belt in World Championship Wrestling was red, white and blue.

Decorate the brass plates to your liking for the new title belt. You can have your brass plates engraved to display your name and the name of your championship belt. Use the poster board to design a stencil. Place the stencil over the brass plate and spray paint the design onto the belt. Allow time for the paint to dry.

Drill three or four holes through the edges of the plates and use screws to attach the plates to the belt. Grind or file the tips off the protruding screw tips using a metal grinder or file.
