How to Correctly Tie a Bull Rope
Instructions
-
-
1
Grab the rope on the loop side and right next to the handle. Pull the rope through one hand to ensure both sides of the loop remain even. Stop with one-third of the rope remaining before the end.
-
2
Continue holding the rope in one hand and grab the loop end of the rope with the opposite hand. Fold the end over the main rope to create a loop. Pull the end of the rope through the loop to create an overhand knot. Pull on the end to tighten the knot.
-
3
Drape the rope over the bull and pull the flat end of the rope through the loop end to cinch it around the bull. If the rope is too short for the average bull, remove it and pull the knot to ensure it is completely cinched.
-
4
Replace the rope and pull the flat end through the loop. Pull the flat end tight and hold it in the handle to prepare for the ride.
