How to Watch the Rose Bowl

The Rose Bowl is a big annual event, with thousands watching the game in the stands, and millions watching it at home on TV. If you want to see the game, you pretty much have two alternatives-going to the game itself, or watching at home on TV. The second option is easy, but the first one will require money and preparation. Good luck getting tickets!

Things You'll Need

  • Construction paper, tape and straws for making pennants
  • A credit card or PayPal account for buying tickets online
  • A computer and Internet access for buying tickets online
  • Cash if you are prepared to risk buying from a scalper

Instructions

  1. Go to the Game

    • 1

Get tickets! Note that getting face-value tickets won't be easy. If you're fast and well prepared, it's possible. Go to the Tournament of Roses Official Web site to find out how to try and get face-value tickets.

    • 2

Get tickets online from ticket merchants such as StubHub and TicketMaster if you can't get face-value tickets.

    • 3

Look for tickets on eBay or similar sites as a last resort-those tickets are likely to be expensive and you run the risk of getting scammed by buying at auction.

    • 4

If all else fails, you can always head to the stadium and try to buy from a ticket scalper-but again be wary of potential scammers.

    Watch it on TV

    • 5

If you can't make it to the game itself, the next best thing is a Rose Bowl party, so invite your friends around to watch the game!

    • 6

Make paper pennants in team colors for cheering with.

    • 7

Set up TVs and serve snacks to your guests while you cheer your favorite teams.
